Great pizza, first time here and first time my 3 and a half year old ever ate more than a slice, he had 6 here so that has to speak volume to the taste. Great atmosphere to hang out and relax and enjoy the company you are with. Will certainly be back, definitely a little gem in Landenberg.

Five starts for the wine. This winery is for those that truly enjoy wine. I had the best pinot grigio that I've had in years, and I didn't expect to find this at a local winery. The couple my husband and I went with had the merlot. They really enjoyed it. This winery is rustic, and very new. They are only partially open, but once everything is up and running this will be the place to go. The day we went, the owner was working alone, and initially seemed off standish, but once we began conversing with him about his establishment, he really opened up. He did tell us about the dinners that he hosts, and I can tell you that my husband and I are looking forward to partaking. This is truly a Rustic Italian experience, and worth putting up with a less than polished atmosphere. My next step will be to head back for a couple of more bottles!

Superior wine, personal service and venue to that transports you to Italy. Mario and Lucia are phenomenal hosts, nothing pretentious but quality for days. My husband has never found an oaked Chardonnay that he has ever liked and yet we left with several bottles. Every wine we tried we loved. We simply can not wait to go back! Fingers crossed my son's wedding is held there 💜

I suspect the five star reviews are fake reviews by the owner's friends to boost ratings. The tasting room is nothing more than a spartan garage. We walked in and requested a tasting. The owner (?) was rude and didn't tell us anything about what we would be drinking, whether we got a choice in the wines, or the price (of the tasting, or the wine bottles for purchase). When giving the tasting, he unsmilingly said the type of wine while he poured ("Merlot") and nothing about the year, tasting notes ... or anything at all. He mocked us for asking about a type of grape we hadn't heard of. We could overhear him talking to the one other party and at least giving a little bit more information. I don't know if this man is rude to most people who come in or just us, but combined with the non-atmosphere and mediocre wines it made for a truly unpleasant experience. We were doing a wine tour of the area, and I'm so glad we didn't come to Patone at the end of the day, as we left with an unpleasant taste in our mouth and were in desperate need of a palate cleanser. If you're looking to explore wines in the region, please go to one of the many other better wineries that actually put in an effort to create a pleasant experience; we liked the wines and outdoor space at Paradocx, and we particularly enjoyed the Va La tasting, which came with expansive notes, history, and cheese pairings. TL; DR Good luck to anyone committed to going to Patone, but there are way better options out there.
