Bicentennial Riverfront Park

My husband found this park looking for a good ice cream shop, and brought me her as a surprise for our anniversary. The river walk is quaint and beautiful and close to the water's edge. Beautiful plant life too. The only thing that was a little annoying is that there weren't enough garbage cans along the walk and we had to carry our empty ice cream cups all the way back to the one can. We plan on coming back again and again!

Trail is paved for wheelchair and strollers. It is short but beautiful next to the river where you will see people kayaking and kids and dogs playing by the rocks. My dogs loved to dip their paws on leash of course. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The bbq joint allows dogs on the patio but is really run down and had the worst nachos iv ever had. The view is good if you like a beer through. The ice cream joint has a dog option as well next store at foxys. I got a soft cone. It was so soft I went to lick it and it fell all over my shirt.

Peaceful, was out riding and stopped for a break. Ice cream there too!

Beautiful locale along the Fox. Plenty of room & shelters for picnicking. Peaceful scenes of kayaks & fishermen.
