We have a cat who recently was diagnosed diabetic. He's not even overweight! We needed a new vet. We had used the VCA specialists and were happy and decided to try the VCA Animal Hospital. Dr. Ball has been AWESOME! Currently our kitty has a LirbeView monitor on. We scan his monitor every 4 to 6 hrs and upload twice a day to a website that she can access too. She sees how his glucose levels are doing and how the insulin is helping and if we need to adjust. We can email her if anything unusual happens and she emails us with support or suggestions. This is so we don't have to poke him for blood and we can establish a routine that works for him. Dr. Ball has also started seeing our older little kitty who is getting chemo after mammary cancer. She is doing great, no tumors! And the practice gives a 10% senior discount. That alone has saved us a bundle. Love the people that work there, they treat us wonderfully! 💕😻

They saved my sanity after my little pug had a bad reaction to a drug after she had surgery. These people are kind, brilliant animal lovers. ❤

Dr. Sheldahl is the best. We had to put our dog to sleep and they were very compassionate and simply the best. Look at our new dog!! He's so pretty

Here's a resounding shout out to the team at VCA Clackamas! Our dog loooves Dr Sheldahl even though every visit involves some form of discomfort. I don't know what her magic is, but it works and I'm delighted our pup is happy to see the doctor. Veterinary Assistant Val is our hero for busting through an insurance logjam and facilitating coverage, which we couldn't have done without her over the top efforts. The rest of the team is amazing too and we're ever so thankful to have your talents when pup needs medical care. Our pup's spay procedure was flawless and while I fervently hope that's our one and only surgery experience, it's nice to have confidence that if anything ever does come up, we'll be in your capable care.

Well, my 30lb dog gets 3 a day. It will make them drowsy.
Nope ... no help with low income people
