Low and behold, he showed us the truck my husband fell in love with. Thank you, Tyler. We had just about given up and were ready to go home but your patience, no pressure tactics, and genuine CARE and honesty paid off! He brought out the truck that turned out to be a good fit for us. My husband was so happy with that truck...then the negotiations began. Shawn gave us a great deal! Holding to Dream City's word on the sticker price as the starting price (which was lower than intended) he made it possible to get a break on the asking price to put the truck within our budget. My wife was looking for a Fiat 500. They happen to have one with 46k miles even though they are mainly a truck dealer. We took the car out for a test drive. We looked around the engine compartment and walked around the car multiple times. We negotiated what we thought was a fair price according to KBB. My wife wasn’t able to get an appointment until the following week with her mechanic to get it actually checked over. The mechanic found an oil leak behind the timing belt area. MINIMUM $1300 to do the timing belt and then plus who knows how much to find and fix the leak. She called them and their response was “well, you did buy a used car”. What upstanding dealer does this? We had our mechanic immediately take off the advertisement license plate holder for this dealer. We will NEVER go here again or recommend them to anyone. Thanks for nothing.
