Kodo sushi sake

We decided to go to this sushi. As soon as we entered we were told to wait 5 minutes and then sit down. Once seated we were asked for drinks and then we ordered sushi. Sushi was really good, we got 4 rolls all really good. The downside that all the rolls came together and we didn't enjoy the sushi as they wanted trying to savor the flavors. the service was really fast but you should give yourself time to finish one course and then start with the other. Obviously this is my thought ☺️

Sushi night but wanted to avoid the Scottsdale night life crowd and was recommended to try Kodo. The place was busy but it wasn’t too long before we had a table. We ordered edamame to share along with a beer and sake. We also ordered the Finding Nemo Roll OMG Roll with fire Rainbow Roll Super Crunch Shrimp Roll. Deep fried Shockingly the food arrived incredibly fast and it seemed all at the same time. The flavors and freshness were all there Every roll was very different from each other which is why we ordered these diverse rolls. Everyone at the table enjoyed them and we all had our own favorite. The OMG roll was wrapped in foil and baked at the table which was fun to watch. It did not hold well together I think because it had so many ingredients. Not sure. Everyone was attentive but it felt hurried. Which is why my rating is 4 stars but could also be 4.5 Definitely recommended and going back for more

Lots of sake to choose from. Rolls were beautiful and very good. Flavors were fresh, bold and well balanced. Service was efficient isn’t and friendly.

Hip modern sushi vibe going on here. Nice, friendly, and fast service. Food was good but I have had better salmon elsewhere. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly staff. Nice place for lunch.
