First time eating at a White Castle, and sadly will be the last. Heard all the hype about how great there burgers were when they came to the valley, but it was never around my travels. Today I had a job near so thought I would try them out. I've worked and managed Fast Food so I know what fresh, hot, burgers should be. As I was ordering I looked at the kitchen which looked more like a assembly line of pre-made food in stacks with buns looked to me like they were steamed. Ordered a #2 combo and waited. The frys were fresh which was a plus, but then I pulled the burgers out of the bag, that just came out of the kitchen. Well the buns were soaked and soggy, the meat Luke warm. I had to remove the buns just to be able to at least eat the meat. I asked the counter girl if they steamed their buns she they cook them with onions and I showed her the soggy bun she went to the buns before they cooked them and brought only the lower half of the bun, mind that the double burgers have 6 bun pieces like a big mac set up. This is the prime example of quantity or Quality, save your money and shop elsewhere. Not worth even half of the $10.79 paid. White Castle will always be dear to me for many reasons. First, my dad would bring them home weekly when I was a kid. This created the crave. I grew up in a far South suburb of Chicago and in Northwest Indiana but have lived in AZ for 30 years. Haven't had WC in all this time, with exception of an occasional one from the freezer. The restaurant is much better than the freezer but I don't think they will ever taste the same as they did back in the day. -and what happened to the onion rings? All pretty good though, but the memories that this little slider brings back are priceless. The pic is a nice coffee mug that has a surprise when you fill it with hot coffee. Happy 100th birthday!

Tonight the service was horrible. Every table was dirty, every trash bin full, soda spilled on the floor and left and the soda machines were filthy. Our order was wrong. The guy at the register was standing there not taking out order, then he finally said it because he was waiting for change. He never asked if we were paying with a card so change wouldn't matter. Just disappointing. It was slow in there tonight same with drive thru. No reason for the filthiness.

First time having white castle. The buns are really the only thing I liked. It was $22 for 10 sliders some little chickens circle things and an order of fries. First off it didn't smell very good in the car. The meat seems proceeded and I don't think it real beef. It had like 2 little squares of onions and some had a pickle some had no pickles.'ll stick with in and out.

OMG Big Red! Thank you for reminding me what my favorite drink in Lubbock was!
Only for family of those hired for the opening.
Yesss!! a better location is 12th St and E Bell Rd (North Phoenix) they have an empty lot great location "busy" kick out Raising Canes
True! I want to know how busy they still are without having to drive an hour to get there! 😂
Well, I have an interview on the 19th... As part of the opening crew... So not sure the 8th would be right?
More like a little Ohio in AZ. Go Buckeyes!!!!
Saturday November 16th still took an hour and a half from the time we got in line until the time we got our food.
I grew up in the “hood” but now i live down the street from where this White Castle is located, and fast food is fast food. Wendys, McDs, Popeyes, Taco Bell are all the same as far as food quality goes, maybe a little less attitude in the drive thru... most times.
Totally agree!
