At 3am the water line in our 2nd flr bathroom burst. After several minutes of scrambling to get the water shut off we were left with a huge mess and potential for mold. Pacific NW Restoration answered my call within an hour and within 4-6 hours was at my home working to contain and dry out the water. They were fast, knowledgeable, efficient and cost effective. They did not take advantage of our emergency, they were a true partner to help us contain and recover before any mold had a chance to grow. After 3 days using state of the art equipment, we were dry! I woke in the middle of the night to my downstairs fire alarm screeching, and when I went downstairs found there was water coming out of the fire alarm. I didn't know what was going on, but I got on Angie's List and immediately started looking for companies that specialized in water damages. Pacific Northwest Restoration was very highly rated so I called them. This was at about 3 AM in the morning. To my astonishment, the person I talked to ask if I needed them to come out right away. I said yes. They arrived about half an hour later and couldn't have been nicer or more professional. It was immediately obvious they knew exactly what they were doing, and I felt very confident that things would be OK. They worked with me and my homeowners insurance to provide the best service possible. The cause of the leak was a burst hot water heater pipe. The hot water heater was in a closet upstairs. They stopped the water flow turned, off the heater and when Home Depot opened, went and bought a pipe to replace it the burst one. They set up fans and a water drainage system in the affected areas and took ongoing moisture readings. In the end, everything was was dried out and/or replaced with no issues from mold. This included flooring, ceiling, lath and plaster and molding. They did a terrific job, and I'm very grateful.
