Great restaurant just by the ferry dock. Had beer, coffee and berry crumble on the lawn. Great service and food.

Unfortunately we stopped by this restaurant yesterday after a lovely day around the island. It is enormous but was totally empty except for one couple on the deck, while the restaurant just across the road was completely full. Upon entering someone came to tell us our two dachshunds were not allowed on the deck, which, again, was empty, so we moved to the grassy area beside the restaurant. The same person then came out to the lawn, which was also empty except for my husband, our 11 month old and myself, yelling "Move your things!", he was referring to our small, portable stroller, which we had just folded up and temporarily put down, as we arranged ourselves at a table. With such intolerant staff literally chasing customers off the property it quickly became obvious why the locals did not recommend Jones Landing. It was a shocking way to end our day on the island, we were then welcomed at the restaurant just beside it and were told by the staff there that our story about the employees at Jones Landing is not surprising.

First dinner was so good. Came back the following night too. Awesome service. Great foods and drinks. Definitely a must try.

Jones Landing is perfectly located right off the boat on the left. They have reggae Sundays and now a craft beer tap takeover on Wednesdays. The views of the water and or Portland, Maine are breathtaking from the balcony of the restaurant.
