Was my long-time favorite airline, flew them 6-12x/mo for business for years, and booked all my leisure trips through them just because the airport service was so quick and easy. But then: pandemic. They cancelled my flight (obviously), but refused to refund me. Gave me a credit, which had a 2yr expiration date. I had no where to go and needed no flights. My other travel partners for the same trip from other airlines were fully refunded. No credits. But not Alaska. Three years later I’m still fighting with them and they make me book “fake” flights I’ll never take, solely so I don’t lose the credit. But I can’t do any of this on my own in my Alaska account, I have to call in. Each call is 45mins+ and the reservationist and rude and u helpful. How the mighty have fallen. I no longer default to Alaska, and after I finally *hopefully* use the credit, of which I’ve already lost $60 of, I will never fly this airline again.

As always, friendly and patient crew. Everything moved efficiently, but remained upbeat. The waiting area is kind of threadbare and I found only one working plug to charge my phone, so it's sad that they actively seemed to have gone around and locked all the hallway outlets shut. A fine experience otherwise, with plenty of room for improvement.

Finest airline on the planet, bar none. Lifetime gold member for a reason from when it was actually tough to earn gold and gold 75k. Love the team. Love the company. They do a lot "right".

Alaska has always been my favorite airline. Everyone's respectful and nice. And they're always happy to help. And there cabin is never dirty or uncomfortable. Definitely recommend for anyone who's willing to spend the extra dollar!
