No exaggeration, Vino is my favorite wine shop in the world. The owner, Bruce, is one hell of a great guy and will gladly point you in the right direction for whatever taste you're looking to satisfy. Beyond that, some of the best deals in town. I run the risk of ruining my favorite Friday ritual by sharing the following, but Bruce's themed Friday Flights is the best kept wine secret in Portland. Try new wines, meet new people, and expand your palette at the most unpretentious wine shop in Oregon for a measly $10 bucks (costs a little bit more for the bonus pours—get them). The shared seating accommodates everyone from your seasoned wine aficionado to someone trying their very first sip. I can not possibly say enough wonderful things about this Portland original. In Vino Veritas.

Very knowledgeable owner offering well curated selection of wines at a very wide range of price points. You really can't go wrong using this as your resource to broaden your palate and knowledge and stop buying the same pretty label drek shoved in your face in mass market grocery stores and the like. Do visit this wonderful local owned store and learn how much you have been missing in wines not distributed in mass outlets. Enjoy!
