It has a potential for waterfront investments. Good summer climate. Not to hot.

If you're in a deep draft boat the recent dredging has improved the situation in the morning basin considerably, although it is still be a problem in the corners. Nevertheless, the Marina staff will try mightily to accommodate you – they're super friendly, super helpful.

It was my first visit to Astoria, Oregon. We disembarked from our ship at the Port. There were vendors on both sides of the wharf. They had beautiful souvenirs... That's where I got an interesting watch necklace for my sister. Of course, the food, I LOVE the nuts, didn't make it home. So good! The Port is also where we caught the bus (hop-on, hop-off, so we could explore at our own pace). What a lovely town!

Not much to see especially in the rain. It will be more fun if you are interested in antiques, historic buildings and artifacts.

The Princess Cruise ship I was on only stopped for the day. We sailed on to San Francisco during the night.

Depends on what spot you're in. If you're in a live-aboard slip you can stay indefinitely
