Huge selection but nothing is actually alphabetized so if you are looking for something specific it may take awhile to find. Also ALL the vinyl is on the floor so if you have a bad back like me this is a back killer. Otherwise it's a huge store w huge selection.

Can’t believe I’ve never noticed this shop all my times in Astoria! Maybe because I always have my family along, but this time just my wife and I noticed it right when we arrived late last night, I couldn’t believe how beautiful all those horns on display looked with all the plants! Got in there today and had a nice time checking out his stock of saxophones. Only left with a Simon/Garfunkle CD, Napolean Dynamite DVD, and a Jimmy Dorsey record, but still want the accordion, Buckwheat Zydeco CD, and bodhran drum!

Maybe the guy was just having a bad day, but he was pretty hostile and rude. It's not a music store, or if it is there isn't any inventory. I think mostly old CD's and plants. I don't recommend this place. Bad experience.

Weird and wonderful. One of a kind shop full of animals, instruments plants and incense. Would not get coffee here but I feel like that's pretty clear upon entering as its a functioning animal sanctuary. Everything is extremely organized and under lock and key so its a great library of LP's, DVD's, cassettes, and CD's if you know what you're looking for. My husband found a record he was excited about and we got several CD's for our car trip back to Portland. Reading other reviews I just want to say that not every person in customer service has to be your life long best friend. The proprietor isn't rude so much as quiet. Go in to see the space, and pick out something to listen to, not to try to chat him up.
