First of all The receptionist is a nice sweet lady she has never been rude to anyone that comes in the building although one day I came in I witnessed a family member yelling In her face and the poor girl stood there taking all the bad language so I disagree with "Your Mom" review the cnas do a very good job they took care of my mother well and had left the place in tears for how much she was going to miss the Cnas @your mom

Really have appreciated care staff—top notch. Super clean facility. However communication has been extremely poor. It has been difficult getting responses from various depts, as well as being included in care updates. My mother continually requests I be included, I am the one paying for the rehab, yet I am repeatedly ignored when I call and email. At the *high* monthly price tag, I expect better service and transparency. Since they cannot provide it, we are considering leaving. I would encourage anyone considering this location to look elsewhere that will be considerate of patient and family’s needs and communicate appropriately.

A family member was there for 7 weeks When you call the main office and leave a message OR talk to someone and they say they will get your message to the person you want it NEVER happens The Billing department does not call back and then you have to pay so much extra per day because of their unwillingness to return your calls. We tried to get our relative out and we had to wait 1 extra week because the Dr had not signed the release papers so if we took our relative out then the insurance would not pay!! What a scam!! Money hungry place and no PT was given

My brother came to Village Health Care after spinal surgery in September 2018 and is still currently a resident. My brother is deaf and physically disabled. Although I live out-of-state, I made multiple visits each month from September through January. During my visits, I met with and observed staff in their care-giving of my brother. I have found the staff at station 2 to be professional, proficient, and caring with the people in their charge. Communication has been a particular challenge for the staff and my brother. I have found them to be diligent in trying to find ways to communicate so my brother understands what is going on. When my brother first moved in, knowing he was deaf, I appreciated the above and beyond given by Eric and James to set-up a proper bed and, also, his communication system to make him comfortable and not isolated. The first couple of days, I was greeted by the physical therapists, the nutritionist, and the activities staff to make sure that services were set up and needs were met. Within the many months of his residence, I have been in communication, as needed, by the nursing staff at station 2, as well as Heather Moody, Life Enrichment Coordinator, and Dena Daugherty, Patient Care Manager. Through their support and willingness to communicate in a timely manner, I have reduced the frequency of my visits, with full confidence that my brother is being well-cared for. I visited several different care facilities when I selected Village Health Care for my brother. That decision was based on one visit with Jenny and a good feeling about what I saw. Now that my brother has been there for nearly a year, I am more that satisfied with the decision I made. I would not hesitate to recommend Village Health Care!!
