Food was EXCELLENT. Bangers and mash so delicious and very tasty shepherd pie. Beer was good black and tan. Service a bit slow. Will definitely eat here again.

Nice find. I was in the area and looked for a lunch place. Google Maps found it. They were out of Guinness, it had a few items such as Shepherds Pie. It is a really nice pub, the fish and chips was great, friendly wait staff, good prices, clean bathrooms. What else do you need?

I like to stop into Jack’s for lunch on a weekday, and the very occasional drink in the evenings. I also recently attended a fundraising event they catered. The fare is simple but very fresh, prepared carefully by competent hands. Staff is unfailingly polite, attentive and fun to be around; servers and bartenders seem to handle the unexpected with grace and aplomb, never appearing stressed or losing their friendly and professional manner. I enjoy my visits here. Spicy food lovers: do not miss the Scorpion sauce on chicken or sandwiches, it's to die for.

Service could have been better. This was our first time here. It was Sunday early evening. Definitely a neighborhood hangout where everyone knows the regulars. It was a shift change but took forever to get someone to bring menus and take our order. The food was really good. The chef salad was huge enough for 2 meals. The sweet potato fries were yummy. My husband enjoyed the shepherd's pie and onion rings enough to go back. The burger looked amazing. And the beer on tap is always a plus. The cole slaw is shredded big not finely shredded. We've driven by for years and the parking lot is always full at mealtimes and weekends. We'll have to try it again.
