We just bought a Ford explore timberline and after we bought it we found a lot of things we didn’t like about it. When was the sound system minute and we talked to them and they said that they would put in a better system. They made this promise until after we gave them all fives on there Survey that Ford sent out to us. We will never buy from them again!!

Worst dealship I have ever delt with in my life. They supply zero communication. I ordered a new Maverick truck from them 11 months ago. As of 3 months ago it was done (informed by Ford NOT THE DEALER, NEVER THE DEALER) Then the dealer left it at the port while they hand selected which orders to fulfill, leaving mine to be vandalized. Now after 3 months of telling me when I call that "it will be next week" they have lost my truck. They say have no clue where it is. At this point based off their attituds im 99% sure they sold it from under me for a higher profit. The sales guy Neil and the sales manager Ryan are both rude and condescending, I know how ordering a car works, it seems Ford is the only one with this issue. I would never have bought from canby Ford if I had dealt with these 2 men before ordering. I will gladly take my money elsewhere and at this point willingly pay more to insure this dealership never sees a single cent from me.

My sales rep Zak was so easy to work with. Zero salesy vibes- just listened and suggested we drive some a few: I came in wanting one of their 4DR Wranglers out front and was set on a Jeep coming in, but after sitting in and test driving the Bronco Sport, I was totally sold. Felt like a large EZ chair with more head room than anything else I’ve ever driven. And I’m a pretty big guy. Totally surprised. So after I bought it I immediately brought my kids to Seaside/Gearhart & took it on the beach for 4 hours trying to get it stuck but sand mode was amazing. Zero issues even in the soft sand. And when I got back, because I was in ECO mode the entire time, I averaged just over 30mpg for the trip! And that engine surprised me- you need to drive one and you’ll understand.. at times the turbos made it feel like a V6 LOL

So long story short, I’m military stationed overseas and needed to upgrade to a truck when I eventually return. Not knowing which way the market was going, I decided to see what I could to with my trade in. Neil and the folks at this dealership were amazing. In 20ish years of buying and selling cars, this was the best experience I had. Fair value for my trade in, expert service, and zero pushing. Just honest and friendly service. Made the process painless and got a wonderful new truck at a fair price considering the market.

I'd wait and do it at the dealership . Many horror stories of it being done by non trained people.
Same as any other public area.
