Cross rip is definitely the best camp ground I've been to. The owners are so kind and genuinely look out for their guests. My brother left his phone in the bathrooms and it was returned to him before he even realized it was missing. Great atmosphere. Also good spot for fishing.

This is a nice quiet campground. They have a fresh water catch and release fishing pond and a saltwater fishing dock. Nice bath houses, cabins for rent. Shaded. They sell ice and firewood. Owners are friendly and care that we enjoyed our visit. Will visit again.

Beautiful slice of the Chesapeake Bay. Confortable sites and well appointed campground. Family and Dog Friendly. The perfect place to unwind, which we did. The sounds of the water lapping lulled us into a relaxed state that was much needed. We will return.

We really enjoyed the campground. There is something about it that is really hard to identify. People were just nicer. Cross Rip is a cozy, small, campground that we will definitely be visiting regularly.

They have a semi protected area, but generally it should be safe anywhere
I believe the campground closes on November 6th... we stayed there for 2 months after our house caught fore and the 2 ladies that run it are awesome!!!!! Great place! We did NOT have to leave on the 6th so you may want to call them and talk to them! They are very personable and i am sure will work with u! The view, amenities, and activities you can do there are great
