Great pet store, but didn't realize they don't carry many of the brand name foods I typically buy. Tried one that looked similar, but my dog hasn't more than nibbled on it for days.

When you Google the hours they say they are open! The hours posted on the door officially say they are open. This little sign says closed except for grooming. When I got there I saw the groomers & 3 other workers walking around! I can understand if they were short handed however again I saw 3 other workers walking around. I’ve been in customer service before & I know sometimes you have to do things behind the scenes to get things done however this usually happens after hours not at 4 pm on a Thursday afternoon. I went to my car & called the store to see if this was just for an hour & no one even had the courtesy to answer the phone! If I could I would not even give 1 star! The corporation needs to know how this one store is running their business. I WILL NOT GO BACK!! Pet Smart here I come!

There are a couple of reasons for only a three-star review. First off let me say that I do prefer Petco over PetSmart every day of the week. My experience on this particular day was one, my dog made a made a boo boo on the floor I couldn't find the potty supplies or anything for a long time finally flagged down somebody walked walking by and it just wasn't personable enough for me. She like pointed to the supplies and walked away. Two I was having a very hard time finding what I actually went there for which was a extra small harness for my dog I tried to flag down another associate and they kept walking. To me that is very bad customer service. Now three on the good note the cashier was awesome, personable, very good customer service and pretty much redeemed my whole experience that day. In any case it may have just been an off day and I will continue to patronize Petco because they are awesome and I trust them with my baby.

Really bummed about this. We’ve been coming to Kent Petco for grooming with our Maltese pup for the whole 9 years of her life. She’s always been well taken care of. On July 3rd we had an incident where Scout got an infection immediately after being groomed. I was instructed to take her to the vet and that the bill would be taken care of. Scout spent nearly the entire night at the emergency vet and it was way too late to visit PetCo with the bill the same day. We came back after the holiday weekend with the bill where it was scanned and told it would be taken care of. It’s been 4 months. I’ve been extremely understanding and reasonable (I get billing issues can take time, so I was patient). I have called PetCo monthly and have been told every time that they forgot, they retook my information, and said someone will call me in the upcoming days. No one ever called. I reached out to the vet and they said they never heard from PetCo about the bill. This issue has now run through two GM’s and multiple store associates with zero resolve. Sad to say Scout will no long be groomed by PetCo because of management. Extremely disappointing.
