I think Dr Luchetti has all the makings of a great physician, but needs more time to feel comfortable in the role, and in individualizing her care to elders, to patients self report, and to patients knowing of their own bodies and history. She is careful to follow ethical protocol, which is good, but an accurate and complete health history makes treatment recommendations more specific to each patients care.

My mom went here for an ultrasound to check for cancer, as an alternative to the mammogram. She informed me the tech performed a massively painful examination, and pushed so hard on her it hurt 5x more than a mammogram. Ultrasound checks are supposed to be painless (or have minimal pain involved), we will never be coming back here. One has to wonder if the tech really knew what she was doing. The lab tech also tried to make my mom feel guilty for getting an ultrasound instead of a mammogram, grilling her beforehand regarding the subject (even though my mom and her doctor discussed that an ultrasound would be a better option for her since she has very dense fibrocystic tissue.) I am a well-educated lab biologist, and I am disgusted in the conduct of the technician.

Highly unimpressed! Last time I was there (2020) I was debilitated with the worst anxiety of my life (heaving and couldn't even feel my legs) and the doctor lady comes up to me and says "oh stand up you're fine" if I hadn't been so weak she would have gotten a lot more than the GTFO I gave her. Never ever will I or my family be sent there. I'm in my late20s, when I was a child this place was great.. now I wouldnt go for any reason. I'll risk Portland

I almost never feel listened to by doctors- I've seen two separate physicians here and they were both amazing. They took their time with me, discussed options, never made me feel rushed and made me feel both comfortable and valid. When I was nervous about treatment options, they gave me all the information and put the ball in my court. I'd recommend them in a heart beat. Dr. Kathryn and Dr. Forrest are incredibly caring people.
