Silver Lake Park

I like taking my kids there to feed the geese and ducks. There's a food store and bread store down the street, also a convenience store for drinks and snacks. They're re doing the park now so you can only access the back park of the park. Looks like it will be nice after it's all done.

I live nearby and walk through the park at least twice a week. Small jewel of a ribbon park in suburban Nassau. Northern section is very nice. I wish there wasn't so much bird poop by the main lake.

Quiet park, access trough the path starting at Merrick road and walk through it until reaching the park , lost of mallards and geese and a couple of swans , seating available
