Worst experience ever. They make up their own rules. There were groups of 5 and a camp of about 8 kids in front of us. Waited ten minutes every hole. Tried asking for our money back after calling the office when on hole 4 and were told that’s not their policy.

Go to Rita's Cafe for excellent drinks, cold beers, delicious breakfast and lunch and although I don't golf experienced golfers say this is the best 9-hole course on Long Island

This course is in great shape and very nice for a quick 9 hole round. HOWEVER, the ranger that was out there was horrible. He kept following us the entire time and would park his cart 5 feet behind me every time I went to swing on the fairway. Once I hit the ball, he left and would show up again 2 holes later and do the same thing. He also came up to us and asked us to hurry up even though we were keeping good pace and there were people in front of us finishing up on the green. This ranger made our experience at Peninsula so unenjoyable, I will not be coming back here.

My friends and I booked the last tee time specifically so we weren’t rushed by other players. Unfortunately the course ranger kept following us and stopped us several times telling us to speed it up and move along because it gets dark early even though there was a party right in front of us. Another staff member asked us why we were so slow even though there were people infront of us and we told him that we booked the last tee time because we didn’t want to be rushed and he then said “good for you, not for me hurry up I wanna go home” they also hounded us to fix divots we didn’t even make. But there was divots absolutely everywhere along the course. only good staff member was Rich. Super cool, nice and gave us some good pointers Rich was very kind!
