I had a reservation at 9 am for a moving truck. When I showed up there was no truck available. I was called at noon saying there was one available then… I had already rescheduled my movers and was unable to move three hours later because I had planned my whole day around this. Thent fiancé waiting on hold for about two hours while when I was trying to use the chat feature on the website they would end the chat anytime I switched tabs to get the info they were asking for. When asked for some reimbursement to make this situation better, we were told it would be 3 business days before they would know if they could reimburse us. Usually uhaul is very reliable but this experience has made me rethink ever using them again

Had our car towed by an associated towing driver to another u-haul yard. Seems like they must get a cut of the towing charge. There were no signs posted, and the assistant manager called the towing company even though they saw where i was parking and didn't say a word to me about it. Moving is stressful enough, but they made it so much worse so they could make a buck. Do not use these guys.

U-Haul reservation system is a joke. Don’t expect to get your truck at the location you “reserved” it at. Don’t expect to get it for the price you “reserved” it at. What a joke. I “reserved” a 20” truck a month ago. Now, today, the day before our move. They call and say they don’t have the truck, but that I can get the closest one on Whidbey Island. Yea, you heard that right. They forced me into a position where I had to spend 6 hours on a friday after work waiting for ferries, paying $60 for the ferry, to get the truck I “reserved” a month ago 3 miles from my house. After all that, the gentleman at the counter (who, himself, was very helpful, somehow did something in the computer whilst trying to update my drop off location that DOUBLED my price, and he couldnt fix it back. He called some corporate store number and they managed to take off a measly $30. Not the $200 they just up-charged me. I had to call the number myself and complain for 10 minutes and they dropped off another $40 or so. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with U-Haul. They should be sued.

You have options for one-way or roundtrip. Although, one-way may be a higher cost. Always best to call.
