Very nice urban green spot. Nice shade trees. Thank you Marian Bear!

Ok. So the hike was good. Enjoyed the trail. Problem is that my car was broken into. Always be careful of course, but this is close to freeway entrance and easy to get away fast. Felt like it was a possible team, because they took their time going through my car, and someone had to be looking out on trail.

I was pleasantly surprised at how cool the trails were. Between the shade, the proximity to the creek that runs through the canyon, and a nice breeze, I still broke a sweat because it's summer and the outside temp was around 80 but I wasn't sweating buckets like I thought I would be.

Beautiful canyon to take a jog, walk the dog, leisurely walk with the family. I find this to be the most beautiful place in the Clairemont community.
