They charge for extra chips and tortillas. The refills are not filled up all the way. The carne asada taste different, like it's cooked and not grilled. The outside patio is beautiful and very authentic but the food is just okay.

A perfect atmosphere for dining outside in Old Town. The drinks were spot on and the Mexican food was delicious, even had a Tex/Mex flare. The sizzling fajitas (beef) were our favorite and we chose corn tortillas. Also, the nachos were a great starter.

The appetizer sample plate was plenty for both of us. Service was fast, food was good and served warm. Plenty of cheese and guacamole on this platter. The Jamaica was really good too. The music is an added bonus as well as the setting of feeling like a quaint little town in Mexico. Definitely a go back too spot. The margaritas look like a designated driver situation but very tempting.

The atmosphere is fantastic. The food is tasty and a nice change from regular Mexican cuisine. I had a burrito chickens style. The mole sauce added a nice touch. The fajitas were prepared vegetation style and was quite good. Being surrounded by shops, cookies and music have the place a festive vibe. Prices were ok. With drinks, recipient to spend about $60-70 for two.

Yes, you had to be masked up until seated! All the tables were at least 6 feet from each other if not more! I went on Valentine day and it was not that crowed!

No I don't think so. Went on my birthday and the waitress sang Happy Birthday to me. But sadly, no free dessert.
I'm not sure, but you can always give them a call and ask them.
We left after 9 pm and they were still going strong. Music and food were great.
All of their dining is outdoors, and they don't take reservations but you can add yourself to the waiting list using yelp. Our virtual wait time was about an hour and it was actually last Tuesday.
As of last night Dec. 6 at 11 pm all restaurants can only provide takeout. No indoor or outdoor dining.
Nope...be prepared to wait a bit...we wanted a specific server so we waited about 30 minutes on a Friday night
NO!
Old San Diego is reminiscent of the past and how old crafts were once seen as an experience
Around it, no charge.
There is in fact indoor seating. I say give them a try.
