The $7.00 parking pass is pretty steep. Especially when you don’t plan on staying long, just looking. But…we parked for awhile after spending that much. We loved the views, shade under the trees, and getting to the lake is easy. We will be making plans to come earlier in the day and stay longer.

Great place to play in the water on a hot day. Be careful of the dropoffs and wear a life jacket.

Nice day use area on the lake, a little quieter than the marina. . Great access for swimming, tubing, SUP etc. No boat launch, but you can put in for kayak or canoe. Concrete walking path, covered picnic /BBQ area, nice restrooms, well shaded. Multiple (3?)life jacket stations, all well stocked.

Went out with the family today to fish for the first time. We didn't know what we were doing half of the time but we had a fun time. Area was nice and mellow till the bugs came out but all in all it was a good trip. Would definitely recommend it for the family.
