I happen to live relatively close to this Mavis, which is extremely convenient, but I would likely go here even if I lived further away. I took my SUV into the shop to get serviced, and due to the supply chain issues the whole world is facing, the repair was delayed. Vinny and Jim went out of their way to ensure that I could get to work... much appreciated!

I was unfortunately forced into coming here as it was the only tire shop on the area that was open on a Saturday when one of my tires popped. When I was eating lunch across the street one of the mechanics called and said “hey I need you to come back over here to the garage so “I can show you some stuff on you car”, I have always heard that when a mechanic says that and then precedes to say that something needs to be fixed immediately, then they have no idea what they are talking about. Which was proven, when I asked them if the leak could be patched, they promptly responded with “No”. Then when I went to pick up my car when i asked what it was the mechanic couldn’t answer, he just said “oh it was something, And now it’s in the past”. Also, They tried to tell me my brakes needed to be replaced today when in fact they don’t, and they quoted me $380 for the brakes and rotors, when I told them no, they preceded to try to convince me by saying “I’ll go as low as $280 if you want me to do them today. They also told me something else was wrong with the car in hopes I’d have them fix it today, as when I said no I don’t have Time the mechanic just responded with oh. I will never be back, and I warn those who visit here, self diagnose the issues with your car or use a trusted mechanic then go to these people with what needs to be fixed

I’ve been coming to this place for decades. Yesterday I had four tires mounted on my Chevrolet 3500 truck. After I paid the bill I went home, when I looked at the bill the tires were $50 higher a piece then what I was quoted the day before. I also did research, I could’ve ordered from Simple tire and they would’ve delivered to Monroe right down the road, $100 cheaper per tire, and only $16 mounting, balance and new valve stem per tire. I definitely won’t be coming back here. This is like the third time this happened to me over here.

Came in for a slow leak in my tire. Left with a slow leak and an additional quote for $800+ worth of "issues" with the car that they would not pass my inspection over. Another mechanic passed me with no issues for $31, which covered the staple in my tire that Mavis missed. The other "issues" with the car that Mavis found were exaggerated in attempts to get more money out of me. Glad I got a second opinion. Will never come here again.
