I picked north Albany urgent care to go to because it had the best reviews. I took my son in tonight because he had a fever of 103. He had a very persistent cough and runny nose. He was home all day sick and getting worse. I had talked earlier to my son’s pediatrician and she told me to monitor it at home. My gut told me otherwise so I took him in. The nurse came out to the lobby and didn’t introduce herself. She was in a hurry. She pretty much shoved the thermometer In my sons ear. He was screaming crying and she had no patience for it. She then said afterwards we’ll we saw you talk to your pediatricians nurse so we are just wondering why you are here.. I told her I was a concerned mom and wanted him to be seen. She then told me well there are 7 other people in the back. I sat there humiliated thinking I was stupid for bringing my son in who was clearly sick. I ended up leaving in tears. I wont ever go back there. On a positive note the receptionist was really nice and friendly.

The clerk was in training but her trainer and herself were nothing but nice and helpful! Also the X-ray tech is super cheery dude, he’ll put ya in a good mood

Probably the most positive urgent care experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was very nice and helpful, front desk staff, RN, x ray tech, and doctor - all personable, knowledgeable, and caring. An FYI, Urgent care is on the 3rd floor of the building and down the hall a ways once you get on the 3rd floor which wasn’t super amazing with why I was visiting (sprained ankle).

Usually I have good experiences! But this time the doctor was absolutely horrible. I came in with a horrible cough and feeling like I have pneumonia it’s been 3 weeks! I finally decided to come in because about a week ago I must have fractured my rib and he was in the room with me for literally 3 minutes!! And handed me off like i was absolutely nothing, didn’t even care that I was almost in tears coughing and in pain. I will come back but will make sure I never get Tom again!
