Typically I have had a hard time working with state services but I have had nothing but kind and thoughtful employees interact with me at this location. They kept me updated on the process for daycare assistance from start to finish as well as answered any/all questions, and returned phone calls.

I mean I would think so, but most definitely call CA department first since that's where you were living. And then call OR to let them know.
