Sadly safe food handling practices are not being maintained. Bags smell like they have been sitting in an old severely moldy freezer for long periods of time. Yes meals are date stamped. But I question the dates honestly or like I stated the handling and packaging of the meals. Look at the photos I posted. That looks as if it's been in a freezer for months not weeks. You tell me... But I won't risk my children's health. There have been deaths by food poisoning linked to this organization. Just Google it. Blessed Be!

I have been driving for MOWP for several months now and really love "my" clients. I have learned a lot about life through them. More lately, I also started volunteering at their headquarters and main kitchen in Multnomah Village. Different experience, same great organization!

Good question. Query directly the folks at the MOW headquarters in Multnomah village...if you can get thru to them. Their voicemail system is a trainwreck. I used to volunteer at their reception desk and gave it up because it is so dysfunctional. I am a driver, so i guess i am a MOWPerson. Lol. Probably a distinction invented to raise money.
Yes, tax preparation will take place at our Resource Center in Multnomah Village. Tax preparation is provided by AARP.

Hi Charles - sorry for the delay. You can call 503-244-5204 to make an appointment. The hours of service here at Meals on Wheels People is from 9 am - 4 pm on Monday and Wednesday.
