I've always loved visiting The Maze. The staff is very professional and helpful and the clothing selection is in wonderful shape. I enjoy wandering the store; the styles of clothing range from retro, modern, high end and name brand. I've always been impressed with the prices too.

I've been consigning here for years. They have a generous payout percentage for this area. They take more clothes than anyone else I've consigned with. I will say that I've learned really well over the years what they like though. If you follow they're recommendations for what to bring in you should do well. They got 4 stars because the store itself is a little dated for my taste. That doesn't seem to effect sales though. My stuff is almost always sold.

This is my favorite consignment store. They have a variety of sizes, including plus ones, and have so many clothes to try that their rows are quite close together; you can't walk beside someone when going down the jean aisle, for example. The staff here is also friendly and helpful. If you notice a hole or flaw in the clothing you want, they will give you a further discount. It is also inexpensive to buy clothing here.

There are certain drop off days, yes, but no appointment needed. I don't recall drop off days, but they're very nice to tell you if you call =)
If they get any donated but normally I would like to suggest that you go to the UGM downtown for those. Gorgeous ones and great prices. Also you can explain your situation and they can help you.

The Maze carries men's clothes and shoes. However, they are very pickie about the style, the condition, and even the smell of the clothes they will take into consignment. Many items may be turned away for any of these reasons. If the clothes are not fresh smelling they will not take them. Suggest you use vinegar in the wash cycle and a dryer sheet. Shoes need to be in almost new shape. No footlocker smell or scuffing. Clean and have good shoe laces. They get a good price for their clothing and other items. Watch out for jewlery as they may sell it for less then you want. Suggest you ask them what they may price it at. Stop in and browse the store to get a ferl for what you might have to offer if it looks like they would take it for consignment. You will be paid after the first of the month on items sold. If you don't come in they will mail you a check. Good luck.
