My brother does archery here, good place for free that also is in the heart of many trails if you decide to take a little hike/walk. Could definitely use some type of cover from the sun though.

This range is free, and it is a great range. It has large 3'x3' compressed & covered bundle targets set into metal and wood frames. These targets are wrapped in nylon fabric printed with 6" targets and small animal silhouettes. The targets are set at 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 & 75 yards. (No broadheads allowed at these targets.) They also have ample room on the left if you want to bring your own target. You could shoot at your own target up to 80 yards. There are 7 metal/concrete picnic tables, and a few log benches. There is also a porta-potty restroom. There are 15 free parking spots in a well drained gravel lot adjacent to the range, and shuttle access.

Was fun finding a place like this! Wish it had more shade.

It's FREE!! Be prepared for mud and beware the lake in the back. There isn't anywhere to put your arrows or your bow so if you don't have a special set up you should probably bring a lawn chair or something to put things down on. The backstops are placed at a range of distances which is good, but they can't really be moved so if you get there when a ton of people are there you'll probably get stuck at one that's a million miles away you can barely see. They are also super dense so you might want an arrow puller, and they're unmarked so you'll need to bring your own target and something to sick it on with. Most of that is pretty typical for an outdoor range, so for being FREE and outside it's pretty good. Go farther than Waze takes you, it's past the zoo and a little farther down the road than I expected. About 15 parking spots right behind the range.

You can rent equipment from archers a field in Tigard
No
no, you need to bring your own. It is more of just a range than a place with rentals
You can shoot compound bows, but those above 70+ pounds are more likely to go through the straw bales.
Thanks for your interest in our range! It's an open range, first come first serve - there's about 11 targets of varying distances. Bring your own equipment.
