Decent selection, though not enough Sun Ra records. Also, the person at the register seemed more interested in attending to their dogs than helping me find the record I was looking for.

Great selection of genres, especially their international genre!!found this shop to be very helpful!!Eric is an amazing cat who knows his music. They don't charge as high as most record shops do. If you are ever in the northern Portland area and looking for world music, this would definitely be the first place to check out first. Thanks Eric

Probably the best record store in all of Portland! Friendly and helpful staff who pay generously for used records and likewise sell their wares at fair prices. Great selection, great and eclectic owner-curated mix tapes are highly recommended. Excellent selection of vintage turntables stereo equipment and they also offer in-house repair on stereo equipment. An absolutely perfect record store!

What an incredible selection. I could have dropped a grand easily had I had it! Went in expecting to buy two, maybe three records, came home with twice as many. They're all great finds I haven't seen anywhere else! I will certainly be back.

Yes, they sell cassettes, prices vary but most are under 5 dollars

I don't think you can buy those directly from them, but they do ship records. It may be worth a call. It's not a very big store, so I would imagine their extraneous stock, like old mailers, would be kept to a minimum.
