Clothes are cute but the customer service is incredibly RUDE if you are selling your clothes. You would think they might say thank you or be kind in any way at all. Instead they act as if you are beneath them. And disclaimer: they occasionally pay reasonable for clothes they choose to keep. They are very rude, however, when they give back clothes they do not want. Why? What is the point in this? I have also seen it happen to others when I was shopping there. This is 2022 and you can do better. PLEASE teach your employees to act in a gracious way. It is honestly a embarrassing for your store. My last experience there reminded me of the movie Mean Girls. And I know tons of other people have had similar experiences.

If you care about sustainability in fashion (the fashion industry is a HUGE polluter), Plato's Closet is the perfect place for teens and young adults to find trendy and gently used clothes. There's also a great selection of jeans (all sizes) and workout gear like tights and t-shirts. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and the store is thoughtfully organized.

I think I am definitely older (53) than the target customer for this store. The clothing was very trendy and young looking. The music I'm sure appealed to a younger generation. Most shoppers were teens or in their 20s. I brought my 16 year old daughter, who dresses fairly conservatively and we didn't find much. The clothes seemed pretty well organized and the store was well staffed. The employees were very attentive.

Hello, We are following all CDC and Oregon Health Authority recommendations for cleaning the store. We’re following capacity requirements as well. Face coverings are required for all shoppers and staff and we have plexiglass barriers at the counter area. We have hand sanitizer available for you to use. Fitting rooms are open. If you are selling to us, items must be freshly washed and dried before bringing them in. Fold them up and put them in a laundry basket or clean reusable tote bag. We do reserve the right to refuse items that don’t meet our cleanliness standards. Let me know if there was a more specific question you had! Thanks, Anjelica, Owner
You just need a valid state issued ID or student ID to sell.
