This place is amazing and is helping me in so many ways. The first horse I met was thistle, and I fell in love with her.

Wonderful facility and excellent horse. Wide variety of breeds, gentle as could be with a wonderful staff.

I do volunteer horse care and "side walking". This stable is so well organized. The people are very knowledgeable and warm and friendly!

This is a top notch center for physical therapy using horses to help people with physical challenges improve their balance and mobility. Also, they do equine assisted psychotherapy, and are rated one of the best in the nation. Vaulting is available for advanced physical therapy. This is absolutely the best facility of its kind I have seen in three states.

I’ve heard that some stables let you come help with the horses and then you get a free riding lesson. Do you do that here?

Boots with a low heel help keep your feet in the stirrups. Wear boots that you don't mind getting dirty

While we do not offer one-time rides, we do offer riding lessons on a quarterly basis. A typical quarter is 10-12 weeks long. If you would like to register for our program, you may do so here: https://forwardstride.org/riding-program/ Just a head's up, we do have a waitlist on our Riding Program currently. Thank you for your interest in Forward Stride!
