From the minute You enter the door you can feel the love of Jesus from everyone you meet. They have an excellent teaching staff, great youth programs and sense of community. Evergreen is the best place to be every Sunday morning!

Very dark and depressing, inside is painted BLACK, very black with all of the shades over the windows. Recently visited after moving back to Hillsboro after 20 years. How depressing and disappointing from how it thrived 20 yrs ago. They had a "younger" person teaching on parenting, like they would know. Let's wait until their kids reach their teens and twenties, then maybe they'll have some experience and wisdom to share. So sad. Jesus is the LIGHT of the world, what are you hiding, sitting in the dark? Very depressing.

I knew when I first visited that the church was healthy and hitting on all cylinders, you could feel and see that. What a great team! And a very open, joyful spirit in the people. The flow of worship has been was uplifting. Lots of talent and spiritual heart. There are both men and women Pastors and their preaching respects other viewpoints besides their own. They put in research and thought on the Bible portions and the issues they address, weaving in both the Hebraic thought and our current understanding and studies on issues. It makes me think of Mt. 13:52 He said to them, "Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old." I visited a few churches in the area and found there are some really good ones! This is one of them, you may want to check it out.
