Great place! I lived there for five years. Nice people there! When we left, they returned almost all of our security deposit, which was a surprise (we do not have enough time to clean the room thoroughly, and there's some floor damage ).

First off, search for "Newport Residential Management" and pay attention to the property manager's 1.1 star rating. STEALERS. If I ever worked at Google, I would propose a zero-star rating. I won't post about petty things such as roaches that had been roaming for years and only disappeared last November after an overhaul. Neither will I post about the nasty property manager Vienna T, who literally has zero English communication skills and doesn't know how to write a business email properly. I am just talking about how they literally stole my property during my lease takeover process. 1. I left an IKEA office chair for the new tenant and took a photo. 2. The property managers claimed they were not allowed to enter that room because it should be delivered in "as-is" condition and once refused to take my keys. 3. BUT, they did enter my room and steal my chair.

I think if Komal Akhtar held her sarcasm and focused on being a more professional and polite consultant, I would have leased out the unit. But thanks to her awful behaviour I have signed a lease with Urby for one bed, just because they were polite and didn’t try to tell me what apartments i can afford and which ones are “luxury” that are out of my reach. Having never have called her in the past, I was told not to call and blow up her messages. A consultant should atleast have basic courtesy in trying to sell an apartment and not just flick out numbers at you. “Luxury” deals in patience and assistance where needed, not being directed to work in progress-plastic covered dingy apartments while being extremely rude.

Jason Wills was an absolute pleasure to work with! It was my first time looking for apartments in Jersey City, and he was more than willing to answer all of my questions (which were a lot!). Jason was super responsive, and I truly appreciated all of his support throughout the process. He listened to what we were looking for and provided a ton of great options. Newport is still well connected to New York in winter. The Christmas decorations are nice. The mall is still accessible. Light rail takes u to Jersey City hotspots and Hoboken. Newport has its own ice skating rink. It's not bad. If summer is worth it for u, winter wouldn't be too bad.
It depends on which floor the apt is.
I put a few of them through this website: http://imageedited.com/ It said "probably". The website is very good at detecting Photoshopped images, and "probably" has always meant "yes, it's Photoshopped" in my experience. (I chose pictures from their website, not the google photos)
