I try to be a "conscious consumer," and to recycle as much as possible, so I love shopping at Goodwill! And after I donated some items (that I could no longer use) to the Goodwill Broadway Store for "recycling," I bought 10 casual shirts and spent a total of $78.90 on them—which is an average of $7.89 per shirt! In addition to that, I purchased a couple of really great home decor items, which is "recycling" too. So, not only am I saving money, I am purchasing items that I need and desire (which are "new to me"), plus I am helping the environment and also reducing global warming... Therefore, it's a "win-win-win" to shop at (and donate to) Goodwill!

The reason they get 3 stars I have been to Goodwills from west to east coast I have never seen such high prices on used items. The store is geared to help people who are financially unable to shop in major departments place. High prices help the CEO stay afloat only. Part2 went back to Goodwill looking for a lamp the one I purchased don't work so I need to take it back. While there came across a green coffee cup for $2,.99 Dollar Tree across the street same green coffee cup for $1.00.

Due to the amount of donations they had today they were only able to accept two box's, however incoming was very cordial explaining the situation,and apologetic for the inconvenience.

I went to a place near this Goodwill store and there was an Unconscious Man Lying Rite OUTSIDE THE entrance of the store, with Irish hoodie on HE Could have DIED how MANY OF YOU Just walked by Him as he laid there???Someone could have called ambulance!!! I am From Portland in my 50s Grew up in West Hills How embarrassing society really breaking down. I CALLED Ambulance check his breathing and waited also HE WAS ROBBED, all his pockets inside out SHAME ON YOU ALL!!! id rate ya lower if i could. I Hope that man is ok
