The maintenance staff and the students in the office itself are great; every other staff member is not. The management hardly knows what they are talking about, and multiple times I was told one thing about the lease verbally only to later find it incorrect from the actual rent agreement. Additionally, the rent is overpriced and each apartment is ripe with issues that are so burdensome to fix that it makes living with the problems easier then getting it fixed. The "additional" amenities within the apartment complex as well are awful. The laundry machines, washer and dryer, hardly work and it takes multiple times for it too work and the "common rooms" like maintenance requests are never worth it. Overall if you can find any other place to live I urge you to live there instead.

My car got keyed in the Broad Street Commons parking lot and they did absolutely nothing. There are not any cameras in the parking lot of their property and this place is constantly having different vandalism occurrences. Maintenance once left the screen out and the window wide open of the 4th bedroom of our apartment and we didn’t know for 4 months cause the room is locked from the inside. We are an apartment of young women and something really bad could have easily happened. DO NOT live here. The management is terrible.

I absolutely love living at Broad Street so far, I've been here since May 1st and I can honestly say it's better than what I could have gotten. Me and my friends moved in together with our pets in a 4 bd 2 bth with a roommate we absolutely adore! I highly recommend it here. Also another plus is the card and app operated washers and dryers, say goodbye to coin bags!

Broad Street Commons has been my home for two years, and the only reason I left, is because I wanted some more space for my dogs to roam. Yes, I said DOGS! Broad street is one of very few places in Plattsburgh that accommodates dogs! Not only do they allow them, but they get to know them while they are there, and they acknowledge you are your dogs anytime they see you! The rent price is cheaper than what you would pay if you went to a different apartment and had to handle utilities yourself. The gym is fantastic, and the courtyard is great if you do have animals and want a safe space to walk your animals! The safety precautions put into place at Broad Street you will not get anywhere else! The staff is always friendly and know you and your apartment number by name! Altogether, a fantastic place to live if you are just starting out in Plattsburgh or if you are just a single person looking for a close-nit, friendly place to live!
