Hot take: this, along with the other stations west of here down to Rose Quarter, are some of the best stations on the whole system due to how often there are trains between here and downtown. If you've ever lived along the lines north, south, and east of here, you know what it's like to just miss a train and have to wait sometimes 20 mins for another train. Generally, that's not an issue for trains going west from here. On top of that, 30 minutes to downtown is pretty reasonable. Downsides: the highway is loud, red line trains are slow to make the turnaround from here going north, and this isn't exactly the most walkable area with sprawling parking lots in all directions. And changing trains to go from the green or blue lines to the red line is a bit slow. Trimet could increase capacity on those other lines by running trains directly from the Airport to Clackamas, or from the Airport to Gresham.

Dirty. Unsafe. Security personnel are present only to collect a paycheck, and not worried about protecting riders as much as enforcing trimet rules and protecting trimet property. If you must be here after dark just be smart, keep alert, and do not engage, some hoodlums use this stop as a place to pick fights and jump people because of its proximity to the I205 multi use path and other foot paths that make it easier to run away if security actually tries to stop them.

I'm sure it does but I don't know who did it. Trimet might know. How many are there ?

Going to zoolights tonight with infant and 4 yr. Old. Can't get to cascade station max til 4:30 or so. What's the soonest we can get out of the station, and how long is the max trip to the zoo?

Trip time would be about an hour to the Zoo/Washington Park Station from Cascades. The red line does go all the way there. From Cascades, you have 4:33, 4:48, and 5:03 PM departures.
