Great coffee in an awesome building! (Formerly a bank) they still have the walk-in safe! More importantly, they have an amazing knowledgeable staff and tasty food options. Since we were visiting town, they happily gave us some really good food suggestions and just made us feel really welcome. Did I mention the coffee was delicious??! Definitely a must stop in Seaside

Like many of the reviews before mine, the place is adorable but the service is deplorable. The boy at the register had absolutely no personality and I had to ask him to speak up twice when just answering my menu questions. My iced americano came out hot so when I asked for the correction, rather than make it correctly, ice was simply added to a piping hot cup, and I was handed a watered down, luke warm americano, with no ice. 🤔 I ordered the veggie eagle sandwich on pepperjack and didn’t realized until my next destination that it was made on an Asiago bagel. A significantly saltier bagel. So now I have watered down drink and a salty sandwich, yumm 😑. Will not be returning and I suggest you find somewhere else in town to eat and get coffee.

The bagels we're delicious. The good part of this review is over. We arrived around 9:00 on a Sunday. The place was full of people waiting for their food and one person in front of us waiting to order. We wanted to order 5 bagels to take with us with no prep required and before we could get that out we were told we could only order 6 bagels to go. The young man took our order and instead of giving us bagels he turned the order over to the kitchen. We waited 10 to 15 minutes before I got up and asked if I could cancel the order. At that point a douer women went to the kitchen counter got most of our bagels that were sitting in a bag and completed the order from the bagel case. And it was $3.00 per bagel. Every other bagel place I've ever been takes your order, your money, gets your bagels, puts them in a bag and let's you go on your way. Not these people. We won't be back.

This is my go to breakfast destination anytime I’m in seaside. I’ve tried to make these at home or find something similar closer to home and I can’t! The brunch bagel is a classic and either the works or the Asiago bagels are my go to. Be prepared for stuff falling off of your bagel if you get the works. I always add cream cheese, it’s an extra $2.00 so a bit pricey but it adds extra texture to the sand which. Coffee is good and service is friendly. They have a drive thru if that is better! See you next time!

If im correct they do!
Yes they are actual bagels. Kettle Boiled.
Taking covid into account and the popularity of the cafe, it's understandable that there might not be 100% satisfaction in your experience. For me personally, I've visited multiple times in the last few months and the wait is not an issue. My food and service has always been to my satisfaction, social distancing and all! :)
