This hotel doesn’t deserve any stars. I should have known the service would be bad just by the manner in which we were checked in. The woman didn’t seem to know what she was doing and not friendly at all. When we went to our room the door didn’t look closed all the way and when we tried to close it and lock it, only one out of three locks worked. We found out later why. At 4 am some guy started banging on our door and trying to break in and wanting us to let him in. He was asking for a specific man’s name like he was familiar with that room. We called the police but the man left before they arrived. When I called the front desk about the situation the person was sleeping and answered yeah. I told her what had happened and she said what do you want me to do. I believe that door has been kicked in many times and that stranger that was drunk or high was very familiar with that place. Not to mention the lack of cleanliness. The pics on the website show you the renovation of the bedroom floors and make it look nice but they didn’t renovate the bathroom at all. The tile was gross. The shower curtain had an orange mold on it and the toilet paper holder was broken so you had to set it on the tub. All the floors had not been swept so you had to brush your feet off before getting into bed. I would never recommend this hotel or stay here again!!!!

The floors were laminated hardwood and were freshly mopped but were still dirty. They should sweep the floor first and then mop. I know this is basic knowledge but someone here dose not know it. The room is heavily sprayed with air freshener to cover the smell of cigarette smoke but after a few hours the smell of smoke is overwhelming. At 4am a vagrant tried to brake in the room next to mine and the guy who rented the room had to fend off the vagrant. I called the front desk to get assistance and the girl at the front desk was perturbed that I woke her and she asked me what I wanted her to do. Just so you know if you rent here you take your own life in your hands. The staff here does not care to help you.

Despite all the reviews I read prior to our stay we decided not to cancel. We were pleasantly surprised with the condition of the room and the service. The room was clean, including bedding and towels. The room looked freshly painted and there was no carpeting, which we appreciated. There was fresh cookies at the desk and we were always offered bottle water, not just at check-in. There was fresh coffee and simple breakfast items offered, much more than a granola bar. Staff was friendly and helpful. For the value you can't beat the stay. We were here for a DMB concert at SPAC and had taxi service each way. I would suggest 2 things....have staff look at condition of bedding and towels. Don't use if dingy or have a cigarette burn. Everything in our room was clean on arrival. I declined housekeeping on day 2 but asked for additional towels. All were clean but one dingy, not a huge deal. In the summer if you are looking for value at concert and high season you can't go wrong. Just my humble opinion😀

We came to town to visit West Mountain for the weekend. Room wasn’t 100% clean but it was tolerable for a short 2 night stay on a budget. On the second night of our stay we where leaving for dinner when I realized I left my phone behind. I attempted to re-enter the room only to realize we where locked out. I went to the desk for help. I was told there was no maintenance available and the owner was not on site to address the issue. We where told by front desk staff that we could address the issue in the morning with the owner. This would have left us stranded without a place to stay for the night in sub freezing temperatures, and without our belongings. That is simply not acceptable to me, and after a lengthy 2 hour process which involved calling the state police for further assistance, someone was able to respond from another location to gain entry. We where able to claim our possessions and decided not to continue our stay. Though requested we where denied a refund and told there where no other accommodations available on site for the night. I will be following up with the hotel’s Corporate group, the booking agent and my credit card company to dispute the charges. I have not had any issues with any other Days Inn locations in the past, however I would not recommend booking with this location. The owner even went so far to tell front desk staff that they where at dinner for their Son’s birthday and too busy to respond to rectify the issue. According to desk staff this is a common issue that commonly requires the use of a crow bar to force the door. Utterly ridiculous I would give zero stars if I could.
