What do the lighted numbers mean on the signs giving miles to next rest stop on I 70 in Kansas

I believe it is for truckers mostly. It tells how many parking spots are open for semis

I'm not sure which numbers you are talking about but typically mile markers headed west give you how many miles until you reach the Border of the state on that Highway.
