Nice safe place 24-hour security that seem to be very attentive to your needs and your well-being

This rest stop has a secret beyond its very average appearance. Behind the restrooms there is a small path that leads through woods, over a small bridge, up a hill to a clearing. In the somewhat neglected clearing is the Guardian of the Prairie, a sculpture evoking the windmill (once very prevalent on the prairie.) A delightful surprise!

Campers: nice rest stop. Some things are confusing and need explanation. See photos. This place has a sewer dump that looks like a storm drain manhole cover. No place to put a hose so people just spill thier (you know what) right on the ground. Not the best. The dump is on a loop to the side.. ok, can i camp on the loop? Doesn't say.. the sign at the restrooms says you can only camp on the pavement.. well, if you stay exactly on the pavement on the loop you block other traffic on the loop. Looks like most people pull to the side off the pavement. Not complaining.. just some thoughts for the management team.

What a beautiful place to rest in the truck and it's very quiet. Loved it there.
