Lot to do in area very clean areas as well. Quit well lit marina walking area.
It's Olympia. It's as safe as can be. I purposefully stay there every time I'm in Olympia because it's close to their cool farmers market, an oyster bar and restaurant that's among the best restaurants in the northwest, and one of the western hemisphere's premier dark dive bars. It's right where you want to be.
Somewhat, there are very nice restaurants nearby. Just a reminder it's in a state Capitol and there are alot of people downtown. There were some people that appeared in need outside the hotel at times but I dont think I would worry too much. As long as you close your cars.
The neighborhood isn't upscale or particularly nice, but we (family of four with two young kids, visiting in-laws with boat moored at nearby marina) didn't have any problems. There's a nice Farmers market nearby.
Not really the best area. Run down and lots of homeless as well. Hotel isnt really worth it based on our recent stay. Better off at another location.
