Are Pelicans ever seen in Indiana?
December and January are really good. Hit the designated fields that have tall weeds, they are well populated with rabbits. Be prepared for competition with waterfowl hunters and trappers who draw for the individual units. Check with the DNR to find out which unit is being actively trapped to avoid accidental trapping of your dogs.
