So I'm thinking about proposing to my girlfriend around the 4th of July. I want to do it inside of the cave. When is low tide? Also would we have to pay for parking?

You would have to definitely go during low tide. The hike down takes some time as well. Low tide changes every day. I just googled it and it told me right away. Parking is free but you should try to get this real early if you like a spot. You can park along the road or go to the end where the surfers park.

Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a low enough tide around that date. You need at least a -1.5 tide or it is very dangerous. You do not need to pay for parking in the lots or on the street though. Congratulations on your proposal!

Wow it's exciting. There is street parking actually. About tides, I don't idea when is low tide. But we have visited in the evening around 7, so that time there were high tides.
