Best kept secret in Rancho Bernardo. An absolutely perfect spot for a family picnic. Plenty of parking, easy to get to and right off the freeway, plus very peaceful mellow. Feeding the ducks is the icing on the cake. Highly recommend.

My GPS did not know how to find the parking for this place. It's situated in the middle of different business building, including a Chinese restaurant. It's really pretty and I'll defiantly take my kids there again. They have what seemed like hundreds of turtles, ducks and we even saw some koi fish. Great for a picnic.

I was trying to find a place to run one day and since I could see this beautiful place from the freeway I searched it out. It's a beautiful and Peaceful place to go. And so unique. There's a city time capsule, the veterans memorial and the beautiful lake with ducks and turtles. There's plenty of places to get comfy and enjoy the day so bring a picnic blanket.

Beautiful Park, nice walkway around the pond, Veterans of Foreign War Memorial onsite. Pond has lots of birds, ducks, and turtles sunning themselves on rocks in the pond. Grassy knolls and areas, great for dropping a blanket and enjoying a picnic, loads of colorful flowers, and benches located along the walkway around the lake. The park is very well maintained, easy walk around the pond.
