Closed due to high winds.
To see if the bridge is currently open, the website or WSDOT app may have the information available. @WSDOT_Tacoma on Twitter will also post when it is closed, but they also post other incidents in the area and it the bridge status may be hard to find in the noise of that. When the bridge is open, drivers are advised to expect up to one hour of delay.

It is currently. If you have a smart phone you can download the WDOT app and get texts for the openings and closures of the bridge.
