According to Amtrak, there is a train that departs from Chico. Coast Starlight goes from Seattle, Oregon, Sacramento, to Los Angeles. I did a search from Amtraks website on Chico to Seattle and there's a direct train to Seattle
There is no train that actually departs from Chico.
