Yes you do have to reserve, I work at little creek and have spoken to the hotel manager that deals with the RV reservations. They will ask you to move if you don't and they can have you towed by your expense if you do not, just to let you know ahead of time.
If you don't you might not get a room
I would make a reserve..just in case there is a big event..
