The C Daniels response to this thread unfortunately has the correct short answer save larghetto. This park has been kept going by volunteers for a long while now. A volunteer would open the park every morning, pick up and empty trash. She still does this most days. The city or county did not consistently lock up so they came up with a great idea to get rid of humans while increasing taxes for the general fund and make an automatic gate. The gate never closed completely and broke after a week. Now the park is open 24 - 7 but the restrooms are usually locked. The brand new gate has been broken for about two months. Not sure if they plan to fix it.
Simple answer, human beings are incapable of using and not destroying things, on average. If they left them unlocked one of us would destroy them. It is Larghetto after all.
Make sure you're out of there before they close- I know several people who got locked in because they didn't check for any cars in the lot before they locked the front gates up
They close everything at 730
